Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Research is jointly published by University of Guilan and Iranian Society of Range Management and publishes articles related to plant seeds after expert review and in case of approval, in electronic form. This publication is published as a quarterly in Persian language with an English summary. Access to published articles and archive of articles is open access and completely free.

This journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. In addition, this publication uses Sinaweb's similarity finder software.

Based on the published regulations on determining the cost of processing articles in open access scientific journals to date 21 April 2021 Submitted by the Policy and Planning Office of Research Affairs of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and approved by the Research and Technology Council at University of Guilan in the meeting to date 8 June 2021, It was decided that a fee will be charged for printing the article, and Based on this, the cost of processing a full article in the journal until the end of 2021 is 4 million Rials and a short article is 2 million Rials. This amount will be received from the corresponding author of the article after peer review and initial acceptance and before publication.

The editorial board of the journal is proud to inform the professors, researchers and authors of the articles that Iranian Journal of Seed Science and Research was ranked A in the latest scientific evaluation of publications under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the year 2019, 2020 and 2021. In addition, based on the latest evaluation of Islamic World Science Reference Database (ISC) in 2016, it has achieved Q2 quality.
